The Lee Filter Roll 442 Half C.T. Straw is a professional colour correction filter designed to add warm straw-yellow tones to lighting sources. Cinematographers and lighting technicians commonly use it to warm daylight-balanced lights and create a softer, natural-looking warmth in a scene. As a result, it helps achieve balanced colour temperature and more pleasing skin tones in film, television, and photography lighting setups.<\/p>\n

This filter can convert light sources from approximately 6500K to around 4300K, adding a warm yellow bias while maintaining controlled colour balance. Moreover, the Half C.T. Straw effect provides noticeable warmth without the stronger orange shift typical of CTO filters.
